Remoteness takes you to a sci-fi alternative setting in which a mysterious event - an electric meteor shower fell on New York City and caused a kind of local apocalypse.

This catastrophic phenomenon not only caused destruction to the metropolis, but also gave rise to mutants - in the past, people and animals that fell under the influence of a meteorite. The military was sent to settle the situation in the city.

The protagonist is a surviving local resident who is excellent with weapons. He has to fight against soldiers and mutants, using an impressive arsenal and the power of electricity. He became one of the few lucky ones to whom the rain gave the opportunity to control this force.
