Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle

Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle is a video game in the shooter genre with a third–person view and horror elements, which takes place in a sci-fi alternate universe and revolves around battles with monsters.

Review

The main character becomes a young woman named Delilah Reyes. She is an experienced employee of the Hexacore Emergency Research Division and is in the position of a spy. As part of her work, the girl finds herself in places where it is impossible for an ordinary person to survive. She explores mysterious complexes that are teeming with terrible creatures – mutants and monsters. The world is still unclear exactly where these creatures came from and Delilah is obliged to shed light on this mystery, risking her own life.

Gameplay

Among the main gameplay chips of the adventure game Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle, it is important to highlight:

1. A very high level of graphics and high-quality animation, which is implemented thanks to the modern Unreal Engine 4.
2. The protagonist will resist monsters and mutants with the help of retro-futuristic weapons, which will not only cause damage, but also freeze the enemy, beat his electricity and so on.
3. There is a unique device called the "Scanner Eye", with which you can scan the surrounding space for the presence of useful objects and weapons, as well as for opponents.
4. The user, in addition to weapons, is forced to collect special items and hints that allow to reveal the details of the storyline.
5. The locations are mostly dark and almost unlit, which further inflates the atmosphere.
