Insurmountable is a video game in the genre of a roguelike and survival simulator, within the framework of which the user needs to climb a very high peak as a climber, using special equipment and skills selected at the start.

Review

Insurmountable boasts a fairly complex gameplay, because even the smallest mistake can easily lead to the death of the protagonist. The main factors that prevent the main character from achieving his goal are the special landscape, altitude, wild animals, other people, as well as strange creatures that inhabit the local mountain slopes.

Gameplay

Among the key gameplay features of the Insurmountable simulator are:

1. Before the start of the passage, you can choose one of three characters – a climber, a journalist and a scientist. Each of them has their own initial skills and abilities.
2. As you progress through all the characteristics of the protagonist can be pumped, which increases his chances of survival.
3. A gamer can die in many ways – fall off a cliff, die from attacks by wild animals, freeze in bad weather, starve to death, and so on.
4. Actions do not occur in real time – the user is obliged to choose a route and plot all the points where the hero should move, after which he will automatically perform actions.
5. At any moment, a random event may occur that needs to be dealt with promptly, otherwise there is a high risk of death.
6. The death of the character is final – he will lose all progress and will have to start from the beginning with starting equipment and perks.
