Batman: Arkham VR is the first video game about the adventures of one of the most famous comic book characters – Batman, which was developed specifically for virtual reality glasses.

Review

This project does not attempt to repeat any of the stories from the original Batman: Arkham series, but offers a completely new plot. This time, everything is tied to the disappearance of Batman's closest allies – Nightwing and Robin.

According to the plot, the protagonist does not stop having nightmares after the death of the Joker. One day he wakes up and receives a message from Alfred about missing friends. Soon he manages to find Nightwing's corpse – he lost and was killed despite his excellent training. Then the hero continues to search for Robin in the hope that he is still alive.

Gameplay

Among the main gameplay features of the game for virtual reality Batman: Agkham is required to note:

1. Unlike all the previous parts, there are no battles here, and the emphasis is on exploring the virtual world and solving puzzles.
2. A gamer can use 3 gadgets from Batman's arsenal – a grappling hook, a throwing batarang and a forensic scanner (the latter is necessary for investigating crime scenes and collecting evidence).
3. The player can move freely by walking – he can only teleport or overcome the distance using a grappling hook.
4. In addition to the main story quests, the user can pass 30 challenging puzzle tests from the Riddler himself.
