The events of the video game do not unfold within the framework of a popular series of movies, but tell about incidents that occurred at least 4 thousand years ago before the plot of the saga. In the distant past, there is a bloody war against the Sith, who are trying to break the defense of the Republic.

It was possible to hold such a powerful opponent for a long time thanks to the Jedi Bastila Shan, who has a unique gift of combat meditation. A year earlier, she tried to capture the leader of the Sith, but was betrayed by her disciple, after which she disappeared without a trace. The main character is one of the most experienced pilots of the Republic, who goes in search of Balista, because a decisive battle is coming soon.

Gameplay

Among the main gameplay features of the fantastic adventure game Star Wars: Knights ofthe Old Republic, it is necessary to note:

1. Before starting the passage, the gamer can choose a character class, choosing among a soldier, a scout and a scoundrel.
2. As the story progresses, the protagonist can become a Jedi or a Sith by choosing a specialization, including a guardian, a consul and a defender.
3. During the battle, you can use not only fencing skills, but also the Power that allows you to cast spells of various types, including the abilities of the Dark Side.
4. There are mini-games, like racing or shooting at a shooting range.
5. The planets already familiar to gamers – Tatooine, Korriban, Kashyyyk and many others - become the scene of action.
