Star Wars: Empire at War

Star Wars: Empire at War is a real–time strategy video game set in the famous sci-fi cinematic universe Star Wars between episodes 3 and 4 of the original saga.

Review

The gameplay of Star Wars: Empire at War is fundamentally different in campaign mode and Galactic Conquest. If in the first case it is a classic real–time strategy, then in the second - a global turn-based strategy with tactical battles.

In total, the user is offered to go through two companies – for the Empire and the Resistance, which will total 25 single missions thought out to the smallest detail.

Gameplay

The campaign mode is not much different from the rest of the RTS, and therefore attention should be paid to the Conquest of the Galaxy mode. And among its main gameplay features, it is important to highlight:

1. The action takes place in a large open world, represented by several systems and galaxies.
2. A gamer can colonize planets and build bases there, as well as develop the economy and make technological discoveries.
3. It is available to hire a huge variety of units, including combat spaceships, ground infantry and equipment.
4. Battles are planetary and cosmic and take place in real time.
5. The user can hire agents and heroes – the key and most powerful characters of the saga with unique abilities.
