Resident Evil 4

Resident Evil 4 is a video game in the genre of a third–person shooter, as well as a survival horror simulator, which is a reissue of the fourth part of the same name with significantly improved graphics and redesigned gameplay in favor of hardcore and even more gloom.

Plot

The events unfold in 2004 – in an alternative sci-fi reality, in which the Umbrella corporation created a dangerous T-virus that turns people into mutant zombies. The main character is a former policeman Leon Kennedy from Raccoon City, who after the outbreak of the virus became the closest bodyguard of the US president and his close friend.

The plot revolves around the kidnapping of the president's daughter, Ashley. She was stolen by members of a mysterious organization who imprisoned her somewhere in a small village in Spain. The protagonist goes to Europe and finds that village, after which he discovers that most of the inhabitants have turned into mutants. There he learns that Ashley is being held in a castle near the settlement.

Gameplay

The gameplay of the Resident Evil 4 reissue is quite different from the original. It has become much more complicated and darker. There are more screamers and bloody scenes now. The graphics have changed beyond recognition – now it is one of the most beautiful video games of our time.

As for the gameplay itself, the following features are characteristic of it:

1. Limited inventory, which holds only a small supply of supplies and ammunition, as well as a maximum of one or two weapons, which forces the gamer to constantly choose and limit himself.
2. All enemies – even ordinary zombies are strong enough, and to destroy them you will need to make several accurate shots to the head, but bullets in the body do almost no damage.
3. Very dangerous bosses, fights with which are especially difficult and will require a gamer's perfect reaction and skill, as well as patience.
4. The need to solve numerous puzzles.
5. Very dynamic and red QTE scenes.
