Asterix at the Olympic Games

Asterix at the Olympic Games is an arcade video game with beautiful animated graphics in which the rebellious gauls Asterix and Obelix, together with their friends, travel to distant Greece in order to win the legendary Olympic Games.

Review

The plot revolves around a young Gallus Lubovix, who falls in love with the Greek queen Irene and intends to ask for her hand in marriage. However, the father of the beauty, Salagis, is not going to give his daughter to the first person he meets and plans to marry her to the winner of the Olympic Games. They are attended by outstanding athletes from all over the republic and among them there is Brutus himself – the vile nephew of Caesar, who wants to win the competition by cunning and deception.

Asterix and Obelix intend to help their friend and go with him to Greece, intending along the way to disenchant their druid, who turned into a drawing on parchment.

Gameplay

Among the main gameplay features of the Asterix at the Olympic Games arcade, it is important to note:

1. In almost every mission, the gamer can choose which characters to play for – switching between them is also available at any time. The exception is tests on games in which a certain character participates.
2. Dozens of plot tasks that completely repeat the plot of the movie of the same name.
