The truth about the Ninth Company is a video game in the genre of a first–person shooter, the actions of which unfold around a real event that took place during the bloody war in Afghanistan.

Review

The war in Afghanistan between the rebel forces and the Soviet Union is nearing its end. The USSR failed to achieve all its goals, and they are gradually withdrawing their troops from the enemy country. Meanwhile, the Dushmen go on the offensive, but face resistance from a company of paratroopers who were ordered to hold the key height 324.

The game recreates in detail the battle in which several hundred militants opposed the few forces of the Soviet troops. To create the most realistic action movie, the developers interviewed the participants of that battle.
