Metro 2033

Metro 2033 is a video game that combines elements of a post–apocalyptic survival simulator and a first-person shooter. The action of a fantastic action movie unfolds in the near future – in the underground metro of Moscow, where humanity still lives after a nuclear catastrophe.

Plot

In an alternative reality, the situation between the leading states of the world has greatly escalated and everything has turned into a full-scale war, in which destructive forces were soon involved. The parties resorted to the use of nuclear weapons, which practically destroyed human civilization.

The actions take place in a network of Moscow subzems, where thousands of people are hiding. They have created a number of stations – well-fortified cities where factions with their own views and ideologies rule (they often fight among themselves).

The main character is a young guy named Artem, who, together with his squad, faces some Black People. They are little-studied beings with telepathic abilities. People consider them their main threat, and therefore intend to destroy their lairs, in which Artem will take a direct part.

Gameplay

Among the main gameplay features of the post-apocalyptic shooter Metro 2033 , it is necessary to highlight:

1. A very beautiful atmospheric virtual world with a gloomy entourage that hints everywhere about the post-apocalypse.
2. A gamer can fight with firearms, including handicraft production – that's just there is always little ammunition, and therefore you will have to save them.
3. Ammo is also the main in-game currency.
4. The virtual world is full of dangerous areas with high radiation and chemicals, in which you need to wear a gas mask and constantly buy filters for it, otherwise you can suffocate.
5. Dangerous opponents are a variety of mutants, robbers, as well as fundamentally new creatures, the offspring of radioactive evolution.
