Commander: Napoleon at War

Commander: Napoleon at War is a turn–based strategy game, the events of which send gamers into a real historical setting, namely in the period from 1805 to 1815. As you know, it was at this time that the great French emperor Napoleon waged a series of large-scale wars on the territory of Western Europe to establish the rule of France.

Campaigns

The gamer is offered to go through as many as 8 scenarios that are closely intertwined with real historical events and recreate them, namely:

1. The first Austrian campaign was a successful French offensive that took place in 1805.
2. The attack on Prussia was a local conflict in 1806 against the powerful German kingdom, in which the final winner was never determined.
3. The capture of Poland was Napoleon's successful campaign in 1806-1807, thanks to which the monarch gained valuable allies.
4. The second Austrian campaign was another defeat of Austria in 1809.
5. The War for Saxony, which took place in 1813.
6. The Battle of France in 1814 was a series of battles that allowed Napoleon to regain the throne.
7. The battles that took place in the period from 1808 to 1814 are a reflection of the key battles that will forever go down in history as a demonstration of the genius of Bonaparte and his marshals.
8. Waterloo is the final episode of the conquest campaigns, which ended with the collapse of the regime of imperial France in 1815.

Gameplay

Commander: Napoleon at War does not allow the user to personally participate in battles – all attention is fully paid to what is happening on the global strategic map. On it, the gamer is obliged to manage such areas as diplomacy, trade, construction, economics and military affairs. You can hire troops and form armies, and then move them around the continent. The outcome of battles is calculated automatically depending on the number of troops, terrain conditions, their training, weap
