Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon is a video game in the genre of a third–person shooter, the events of which unfold in a science fiction universe of the near future.

In this alternate reality, the planet is attacked by a huge army of aliens who look like giant insects and like a swarm destroy everything in their path.

Key events will take place in the fictional American metropolis of New Detroit, the prototype for which was the real-life city of Detroit. The main character is one of the fighters of the elite squad of the Earth Defense Forces, who, thanks to high-tech equipment and futuristic weapons, effectively fight against a swarm of alien insects.

Gameplay

Among the key gameplay features of the hardcore fantasy action movie Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon, it is necessary to note:

1. The arsenal of weapons impresses any imagination – the developers have added about 300 types of firearms (from machine guns, sniper rifles to hand-held rocket launchers and flamethrowers).
2. A wide variety of opponents – from small insects to giant bosses.
3. Multiple modes – in addition to the usual single-player storyline, there is also a cooperative survival mode in which a team of up to 6 users is forced to fend off endless waves of the enemy.
4. There are 4 types of armor that open as you progress – each gives unique abilities and bonuses, for example, a Jetpack provides the function of flying, and a Battle gives many advantages directly in battle.
