Dungeon Siege III is a role–playing video game with a linear (corridor) virtual world, which takes place in a fictional fantasy universe called Eb.

Unlike the previous parts, the developers decided to abandon multi-character squads to make the game easier, especially for beginners.

Plot

The actions unfold between the events of the first and second parts. According to the setting, the 10th Legion, which for many centuries defended the kingdom, was almost destroyed. Behind this was the militant cruel queen Jane Cassinder, who accused the Legion of murdering her father and thereby rallied people around her.

A few soldiers of the order managed to escape together with the young noble ruler Roslin – they disappeared deep into the depths of the Brilliant Mines. The main character is one of the descendants of the Legion, who is trying to find their military camp and join the ranks of the warriors to continue the resistance of Jane and her huge army. With the appearance of the protagonist, the forces of good significantly increase the chances of victory.
