Plot

The actions begin to develop from the moment when the main character gets a vacancy as a customs officer at the immigration control post in the country of Arstotska. The government recently ended the war with the neighboring state and began total control of incoming citizens. Of course, the main character will have to implement it. Will he be able to comply with all the rules from the higher management and not compromise his conscience? Or would he prefer to support corruption? It all depends on you. Glory, Arstotzke!

Gameplay

The gameplay includes: checking the documents of incoming citizens, monitoring violations and deciding whether the customs will give the go-ahead or not. With each new day, new directives concerning arrivals will be received from the Government. They will be divided into rules for residents of Arstotzke and citizens of other states. As the list of requirements develops, it will grow, which will make it very difficult to pass. What the outcome will be depends on the gamer's decisions.

Not only ordinary people will arrive at the control point, but also all kinds of criminals. Drug dealers, speculators, smugglers and even terrorists. The duty officer will have to enter into a dialogue with them and make appropriate decisions. Will he be able to gain a foothold in his new job and ensure a decent existence for his family? The game has unusual graphics in dark colors. Despite the lack of a change of scenery and special effects, Papers, Please has a huge army of fans.
