Gameplay Features

As mentioned above, in the Verdun game, the realism of what is happening is not an empty sound. Game assumptions are certainly present here, but the gameplay is built in such a way that the player can feel close to the conditions of that war.

Small arms do not have a sufficient rate of fire to conduct full-fledged attacking maneuvers, but their characteristics are optimal for long-range shots. The high killing power of ammunition, almost always leads to the death of the character when hit. This noticeably reduces the ardor of the players and forces them to act more cautiously, which means using trenches.

Artillery shelling is used as support, as well as gas attack, which were widely used at that time. The same trench protects from the first, and a gas mask is available to the second player for confrontation. It significantly reduces visibility, but protects against the effects of gases.

Several character classes are available for the player.
