Plot

The events take place in a fictional universe, which practically does not differ from the real world, except that there is another dimension in parallel with it – an alternative world, and both are filled with various kinds of monsters.

The plot centers on a man named James Sunderland, who receives a letter from his wife inviting him to visit a resort town called Silent Hill. Everything would be fine, but his wife died a few months ago. And yet something makes a man follow the will of the letter.

Upon reaching Silent Hill, the hero discovers that the town is actually far from a paradise resort – it looks dilapidated. Here James sees a woman who looks almost completely similar to his wife. But besides her, this place is inhabited by many monstrous creatures.

Gameplay

Among the key gameplay features of the cult horror Silent Hill 2, it is necessary to highlight:
