Plot

The action of the story campaign unfolds in four cities – New York, Miami, Los Angeles and San Francisco, however, many locations are invented, and the rest are exactly copied from real megacities.

The main character is a car thief named John Tanner, who hacks the famous FordMustang1967. However, he does not manage to get out of the parking lot – the police noticed how the car was stolen and went in pursuit. After a long race, the character still manages to lose his tail, after which the main plot actions begin.

Gameplay

Among the key gameplay features of the Driver 1 racing simulator, it is necessary to highlight:

• the main character cannot leave the car in free mode – the transport changes several times during the game in the plot moments;
• the inability to change the car makes you act extremely carefully, because it will be repaired automatically only after the completion of the plot task;
• thoughtful mechanics of car damage – each damage affects the behavior of the car while driving;
• plausibly executed physical model of the car;
• in case of violations of traffic rules, the main character begins to be pursued by the police;
