Plot

The events unfold in a fairy-tale world called Edenia. Thousands of years ago, the supreme deities foresaw the end of all worlds, which would be brought by powerful warriors – a decisive battle would happen in the crater of a volcano.

All the gods decided to protect the crater and create a weapon capable of depriving the warriors of all their powers. But one of the gods, Argus, decided to go a different way and weakened the protection in secret from the others. As a consequence, the prophecy began to come true, and the fate of the whole world now depends on the outcome of a new deadly duel that began in the crater of the volcano.

Gameplay

The new part of Mortal Combat Armageddon brings a lot of interesting gameplay innovations to the series, namely:

• combo strikes and various techniques can now be carried out when the character is in the air after jumping;
• added the ability to conduct a counterattack after the opponent knocked the character to the floor – such an attack will cause a lot of damage, but it is not easy to execute it;
• now if the enemy wants to strike, he can be repelled with a sharp kick;
• significantly expanded the number of characters;
• due to the wide variety of heroes, the number of styles on each of them has been reduced to two (now only one melee and one weapon is available, although for some characters only two melee can be present;
• the number of strokes in each of the style
