Fallout 2 Restoration Project is a custom modification to the computer video game Fallout 2 in the RPG genre with an open virtual world, the events of which unfold in a post–apocalyptic future on the territory of the dilapidated States of America.

The modification was released in order to return to the game all the developments of developers who were not included in the release version. Thus, Fallout 2 becomes the way the studio originally saw it, and this version, according to the players, is much better than the original one.

A studio called Black Isle Studios worked on the creation of the game.

Plot

The events unfold several decades after the nuclear war, which destroyed not only the United States, but the entire planet. A small village of survivors has been resisting the new harsh nature of things for many years, but now people are on the verge of extinction. The village elder calls the Chosen One, who is the main character, to go on a dangerous journey to find a mechanism that is supposedly able to help revive the civilization of people and build new cities.

Gameplay
