The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan is a computer video game in the genre of horror and interactive drama with a third–person view, in the center of the plot of which is a small group of five treasure seekers who find themselves on board a long-lost ghost ship. The main character will have to face the real evil that destroyed the ship's crew several decades ago.

Plot

In 1947, an unknown cargo was loaded aboard the American warship The Man from Medan, which was to go to the United States. A few hours after sailing, the ship's crew was attacked by an unknown creature, as a result of which the entire crew died in terrible agony. Several distress signals were received from the team, after which the "Man from Medan" disappeared forever.

After more than half a century, a group of divers-treasure seekers travels through French Polynesia in search of sunken planes during the Second World War. Instead, they get on board a vanished ship, where they face their most terrible fears.
