Ryse Son of Rome 2 is a computer video game in the genre of action adventure, the events of which unfold during the formation of the Roman Empire. The main character is a young soldier of the Roman legion – Marius, who, together with his legion, is fighting in Britain in order to avenge the death of loved ones.

A well-known German studio called Crytek worked on the creation of the action.

Plot

A young Roman soldier after the brutal murder of his father by barbarians, Marius decides to enlist in one of the Roman legions, which is planning a military campaign in Britain.

Together with his legion, the main character is trained and eventually becomes a centurion. It is in Britain that the protagonist learns that his family was betrayed by the Emperor Nero and his son Commodus. The latter betrays the legion of Maria, and the protagonist himself barely manages to survive after the invasion of the barbarians, who are now targeting Rome.

Maria manages to return to Rome under the guise of Damocles. His goal is to kill the emperor and his son, which will help the next gladiatorial games, because Commodus himself volunteered to participate in the battles. Meanwhile, a huge army of barbarians is approaching the eternal city.

Gameplay

Ryse Son of Rome 2 is far from historical events – many facts have been greatly distorted, but because of this, the game does not suffer at all if it is not perceived as a documentary. In addition, it boasts incredibly colorful graphics and a spectacular combat system.
