Elden Ring is a computer video game in the RPG genre with a third-person view, the events of which unfold in an almost dead, dark medieval world. The protagonist, of course, will try to save it, being the chosen one.

It is noteworthy that the famous American writer George Martin, better known to the public as the author of the "Game of Thrones" series, worked on the creation of the script for the game. This news shows that the storyline here is at the highest level.

The development of the game is working on a team called FromSoftware - the creators of the Dark Souls series.

The plot

Since the game is still in development, there's still no information or storyline. However, as FromSoftware is working on the game we should assume that it's about the dark fantasy universe again, which began to fall apart, and the main character has to do everything to prevent the end and let it happen as it's written.

It is reasonable to say that the plot will also not be easy to grasp - this studio is able to keep secrets, and so the story will have to be thought through, based on the information that was obtained in the course of the study of the virtual world.

Gameplay

Elden Ring is a complex, dark and incredibly atmospheric RPG, which probably will even eclipse the Dark Souls series (at least, if you believe the developers).

Among the key gameplay features of the RPG are:

• a fully open virtual world, through which you can freely travel on horseback and on foot;
• an editor for creating your own character;
• complete absence of peaceful and friendly settlements - everything around is dead or hostile to the player;
• a huge choice of weapons and ways to fight enemies;
• complex bosses and even ordinary enemies capable of destroying the protagonist with a few blows.
