Nioh 2 on PC

Nioh 2 is a console RPG and action video game set in Japan during the late Middle Ages and the beginning of the Samurai Age.

The RPG was created by a famous Japanese team called Team Ninja.

The plot

The storyline in Nioh 2 is not in the first place - the developers paid much attention to the combat system.

Events unfold a few decades before the start of the original first part. The main character becomes not an English sailor, but already Japanese samurai, who must do everything possible to unite Japan. To do this, he will have to carry out numerous errands of his suzerain, fight rebels and numerous magical creatures.

Gameplay

Nioh 2 has not gone too far in terms of gameplay - the original mechanics have been preserved, with only minor tweaks that have diversified the second part.

Among the key gameplay features of the project should be highlighted:

• an open virtual world;
• the ability to create your own character - this feature was not present in the original;
• well thought-out combat system, which combines and unique combos, conventional attacks, strikes from different racks, as well as the use of special skills;
• complex opponents - in this respect the game reminds the famous Dark Souls series;
• quite a lot of freedom of action outside of the story quests;
• a huge variety of well-written and complex side quests.
