Biomutant is an open-world action-adventure video game about the adventures of a warlike beast that resembles a character from the popular Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy movie series.

A team called Experiment 101 worked on the project.

Features of the gameplay

The events of the video game unfold in post-apocalyptic future where there are no humans - the main characters here are animals, and some of them are cybernetically enhanced to conduct combat in a post-apocalyptic environment. The end of the world was caused by some poisonous gas eruption from the bowels of the earth, which led to the mutation of all living things, including animals.

Among the key gameplay features of the adventure thriller should be highlighted:

• character creation editor - your own animal can be customized by adjusting a host of parameters;
• non-linear gameplay - the thriller is not strictly tied to the storyline and allows you to freely explore the virtual world and perform secondary tasks;
• a character progression system that is built around learning and using new cybernetic modifications and skills;
• seamless virtual world;
• the ability to move both on foot and with the help of various vehicles;
• the presence of the karma scale - it will change depending on how decisions the protagonist makes: good or evil (also on this background, the attitude of the NPC to the protagonist changes)
• combat system, which combines the use of kung-fu skills and firearms.
