The Last of Us: Left Behind is a console video game, the events of which unfold before the beginning of the story of the extremely successful first part, as well as in parallel with it. Like the original 2013 game, the addition received extremely high reviews from critics and gamers for its excellent plot, well-developed characters and the preservation of the already familiar entourage.

Plot

The events unfold in different time intervals – initially, the video game tells about the events when Ellie had already become Joel's partner and he was seriously injured during one of the fights. Ellie does everything possible to save the mentor.

Then the main character was traveling with her friend Riley, with whom she was in a romantic relationship. They fight the "Cicadas" together and try to hide from the infected. However, they are still overtaken – the girls are bitten, and they believe that the last hours should be spent together, and then commit suicide.

Gameplay

The Last of Us: Left Behind generally repeats the gameplay of the original first part – the developers did not come up with something fundamentally new, nevertheless they managed to revive the gameplay somewhat.
