Detroit: Become Human (2018) on PC

Detroit: Become Human is an adventure console video game with elements of an interactive cinematic drama, the events of which unfold in the near future – in the American city of Detroit. Humanity has created android robots to serve itself, which, as a result of a malfunction, began to get out of control.

A French team called Quantic Dream worked on the creation of the project.

Plot

In the near future, thanks to scientific progress, people were able to create androids – highly developed robots that practically do not differ from humans in appearance. They were created to serve people in every possible way, to replace them in various types of work.

One day, the program that controls the robots begins to give its own – and the breakdown is massive. As a result of the failure, androids get their own free will and begin to feel emotions – this makes them exactly the same as humans. Over time, they realize that they are essentially in slavery.

In the center of the plot there will be three different characters who come to the point that they are ready to declare war on humanity for their independence.

Gameplay

Among the key gameplay features of the cinematic drama Detroit: Become Human needs to be highlighted:

• the presence of colorful dynamic action scenes, which is quite rare in the genre;
• the emphasis is placed on the plot story and dialogues thought out to the smallest detail;
• the incredible level of graphics is definitely the standard of the genre (to shoot a film of this quality, the developers had to spend a whole year and a half);
• the further development of the story depends on the player's decisions – there are dozens of different endings in total;
• characters are not immortal - a series of wrong decisions can lead to their premature death.
