Star Wars: Squadrons

Star Wars: Squadrons is a computer video game in the genre of multiplayer action and space fighter control simulation, the events of which unfold in the famous fantasy universe "Star Wars".

In addition to multiplayer, fans can also access and single-player campaign mode with an original story that complements the story of the confrontation between the Empire and Republic resistance forces.

The studio Motive Studios worked on the creation of this project.

The plot

The events of the video game take place right after the famous Battle of Endor, where Luke Skywalker and his father - Anakin, who called himself Darth Vader after switching to the dark side, fought in the duel.

In the end, the Republic won a bloody victory, but the Empire's forces were not completely destroyed, even with the explosion of the Death Star. Even after the defeat, the Empire has a powerful Titan fleet, which set out to destroy a new hotbed of resistance, the Starhawk. And protecting the interests of the Republic will be a fleet called the "Vanguard" - the storyline is built around the confrontation of these two squadrons.

Gameplay

Star Wars: Squadrons game can be played in both single-player and multiplayer modes. The project also supports virtual reality technology.

Among the key gameplay features of the action movie should be highlighted:

• available four types of different spacecraft (fighters - with balanced protection and firepower, interceptors - have incredible maneuverability and speed, support - have incredibly strong armor, bombers - have devastating attacks);
• multiplayer mode - 5 on 5 players, where the winner is the side with the highest number of kills;
• mode - "battle of the fleets", which is represented by a multistage battle, where you must first destroy the main fleet, and then gradually blow up the flagship;
• more than 50 options for configuring your ship.
