Hunt: Showdown is a computer video game in the shooter genre with cooperative elements, the events of which unfold in the distant past – in the XIX century on the territory of the so–called Wild West of the USA. According to the classics of the genre, something incomprehensible happens, which leads to a total infection of most of the American population. And yes, this disease is not just a cold, but a real zombie virus that turned the unfortunate into the walking dead. WELL, the main characters are a kind of hunters who destroy all the corpses left and right.

A strong German team called Crytek worked on the creation of the project.

Gameplay Features

Hunt: Showdown is far from a typical representative of zombie video games, where there are many outs for survival. Destroying zombies is quite difficult, and every mistake can be the last one here.

The events themselves unfold in the state of Louisiana. Locations are often numerous swamps – a rather gloomy area where it is easy to get trapped. The original sound design also adds to the gloom, which further inflates and betrays the atmosphere of hopelessness.
