"Betrezen is dying..." – this is how the narrative begins about the events that shook Nevendaar ten years after the First Great Wars. Chaos, destruction, fear, hatred have settled forever in these beautiful lands created by a fallen angel.

Races and their goals

Four races will fight on the game map, mission by mission, pursuing their global goals. Legions of the Damned will try to resurrect their lord. Mountain Clans will do everything possible to restore their former greatness, to delay the end of the world – Rognarek. Hordes of Undead, led by the goddess of death Mortis, will seek to resurrect her husband, the god Galean. The empire under the leadership of the weak-willed Demosthenes will enter into a battle for its existence with the dark forces.

The beginning of the game

First, you will be asked to choose a race, and then a ruler class. Each class of the three offered carries its own bonuses:

• the ruler-mage will cast one spell twice per turn, spending half as much mana;
• the armies of the warrior ruler will restore health faster;
• a thief ruler will be able to build buildings for half the price. 

After the choice is made, we proceed to the gameplay. First of all, the gamer will receive the main task for the mission (chapter, if you like): kill the character, capture the city, get an artifact, etc. Further. a series of messages will follow, revealing the essence of the game chapter, presented as monologues and dialogues. In addition to the main thing, side tasks will appear, which, along with the struggle for lands, resources, cities against other races, will not let you get bored during gameplay.

The main character

Each race has a main city, the capital, where you can hire heroes leading armies into battle, study spells, hire warriors. Having chosen the main character: a scout, a warrior, a magician, it is necessary to pump the whole game. Experience can only be gained in battles. Only a single hero moves from chapter to chapter. With each mission, the complexity and level of the enemy will increase, which will require a stronger army leader.

Some tips for beginners

Do not forget about pumping squad members. To do this, it will be necessary to build buildings in the main city. Capturing resources and cities will allow you to earn income that can be used for the development of cities, the creation of armies, the purchase of artifacts and other game attributes: medicines, potions, scrolls, etc. Do not neglect the study of spells. Powerful magic, which requires a lot of mana, is capable of destroying the enemy's army with hellfire or icy rain.

Passing the chapter

In the game, you must successfully complete the main task. In case of defeat, the mission will have to be completed first. After the victory, the gamer will be shown a video that simultaneously reveals what events in Nevendaar led to the player's victory, and is a prologue to the next chapter.
