Plot

Jonathan Reed is a talented doctor from London who is trying to save London from an epidemic that has claimed the lives of tens of thousands of people, and the victims are growing every day.

One day Jonathan is attacked by an unknown person, and the very next morning the hero notices changes in his body. The attacker was a vampire and Reed also became a monster. However, he does not want to be a murderer, and therefore is torn between the Hippocratic oath and his dark nature. In addition to helping the population, Jonathan is also trying to find out another world of London, which is inhabited by strange creatures.

Gameplay

Vampyr was noted by many for its beautiful graphics and interesting plot, but criticized for a meager combat system. And yet the game received good reviews from critics and gamers. Among the key features of the action are the following:

• a detailed London of the early twentieth century, which is divided into several districts;
• the hero influences the appearance of the city and the fate of people – from his actions, some areas can be cured of the disease, or vice versa, plunge even more into darkness;
• the main character does not have to drink blood and kill – you can help people, but at the same time Reed will not be able to use the vampire's powers and will be weaker;
• a large number of plot tasks and even more additional ones;
• advanced character leveling system;
• excellent level of graphics and realistic animation of the faces and movements
