Plot

Lara will continue to be opposed by the powerful Trinity organization. In this part, the heroine will meet the head of this company, who is behind the death of the main character's father. Her desire for revenge will interfere with saving the world and force her to make a difficult choice.

Gameplay

According to the developers, Shadow of the Tomb Raider will be the darkest part of the franchise, because the end of the world is almost inevitable. At E3, the studio shared many facts about the upcoming action movie, namely:

• the virtual world will become even bigger and will be open, which will give freedom of action during the passage;
• the complexity of the puzzles in the tombs will greatly increase;
• Lara will die far from the most pleasant images, which should encourage her to play more thoughtfully and carefully;
• the main emphasis in the gameplay is on stealth, not on open combat;
• there will be new ways to overcome obstacles;
• the main weapon will be a bow, and paired pistols will not appear in the game;
• a wide variety of locations – from pyramids to underground
