1979 Revolution: Black Friday is a non–standard action video game in which we participate in the serious political changes that took place in 1979 in Iran — the Iranian Revolution.
The game was developed by the American studio iNKstories.
Description
In 1979, as a result of mass demonstrations, the dictatorial regime of Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi was overthrown, and he was forced to flee the country. A new regime was proclaimed — democratic, but strongly connected with Muslim traditions and laws.
Gameplay
Events develop from the third person. Players impersonate several participants in these events. We start as an American translator who recently arrived in Iran. He was sent by the United States on a mission to negotiate the release of hostages from an embassy occupied by revolutionaries. After that, we become one of the students. Some of the main actors we control specialize in combat, while others rely on negotiation skills, stealth, or even trading.

Among the key features of the 1979 Revolution are:
