Description

The events unfold in the distant future, about a hundred years after the catastrophe, as a result of which the human species is on the verge of extinction. Almost an entire planet is controlled by a faction of so-called clusters. They use machines gifted with human digital consciousness to achieve their goals. The player acts as the chosen one who can put an end to the domination of machines and revive humanity during this ongoing war for the resources of the Earth.

Gameplay

Livelock focuses mainly on dynamic sequences. The game offers three different characters to choose from. Everyone has their own weapons, a lot of useful gadgets and tactical abilities. From the point of view of mechanics, the game is a classic of the genre, but also offers a wide variety of both opponents and locations. Thus, the player visits both vast, open spaces and semi-dark interiors, fighting robots of different sizes and powerful rovers. Each of the latter has its own strengths and weaknesses — identifying them and applying adequate tactics is crucial for victory.
