RIVE: Wreck, Hack, Die, Retry! (2016) PC

RIVE: Wreck, Hack, Die, Retry! – a fantastic 2D shooter with platformer elements in which you are constantly in the thick of crazy, cosmic events, facing overwhelming enemy forces in battle. Skill, cunning and huge firepower are your key to victory.

The game is developed by the Dutch studio Two Tribes.

Gameplay

At the most basic level, you have a spider bot that can shoot in any direction, jump and take control of certain enemies. Hacking enemy units is a good skill that you rarely see in games. You will be able to unlock more hacking features as you progress through the game, which will allow you to blow up enemies, restore health or add firepower. The spider bot can upgrade weapons, but the amount of ammunition is quite limited.

Some of the levels take place in zero gravity, which allows you to move and fight in all directions. In other areas, you ride a raft through lava, fighting enemies while your mobility is limited. In general, RIVE has a variety of locations that will not make you bored.
