Silence - The Whispered World 2 is a continuation of the adventure video game "The Whispered World", based on the classic adventure mechanism "point'n'lick".

The game was developed by the German studio Daedalic Entertainment.

Description

You play as a brother and sister – Noah and Renie, who are hiding in a bomb shelter during the fighting. There they find a passage to the unknown world of "Silence", where the boy Noah loses his little sister and is forced to enter this world to find Renie. The mysterious "Silence" is also at war, and evil creatures are moving all over the country. Fortunately, you meet a Spot – a small caterpillar that can change its shape and will accompany you.

Gameplay

As you progress through the game, you encounter many obstacles and puzzles that you can handle with the help of individual items or your friend, because there is no real inventory, as in many adventure games. Tasks are usually solved quickly because the game focuses on storytelling, not puzzles.

You start with one of the three save slots, but in the game you have no way to save and, unfortunately, after completion, the progress to the last auto-save is lost.

With a given playing time of 12 hours, Silence is not very long. This is noticeable because the story looks pretty condensed. Nevertheless, with the little naive Renie and her older brother Noah, you have two attractive characters who will immediately conquer you.
