Crossing Souls is an adventure video game set in pixel California of the 80s.

The game was developed by the Spanish studio Fourattic.

Plot

The story unfolds in 1945, when an archaeologist, Dr. Carter Jones, is sent by the US government on a secret mission to recover a mysterious stone. After which he disappears without a trace. Half a century later, in 1986, five teenagers, Kevin, Charlie, Criss, Matt and Big Joe, during a bike ride outside their city, discover the doctor's corpse, and with it a stone. They keep the find for themselves, not fully understanding the power of the artifact. Over time, the guys discover that the stone is able to make them interact with the spirits of the dead and move through time. Thus, the guys get into the history of a government conspiracy. They have to save their families and the whole world.

Embark on an epic journey with the guys to help them solve complex puzzles and fight the most dangerous enemies.

Gameplay

Crossing Souls is created around a large open world that you need to explore and find clues.

Among the key features of the gameplay are the following:

• pixel style of the game, imbued with the atmosphere of video games of the 80s;
• lots of fascinating puzzles with a smooth increase in difficulty;
• combat situations in which the player must defeat one or more enemies in order to pass through a guarded passage or get the desired item;
