S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: The Call of Pripyat - St. John's Wort 3 is a gameplay modification to the original Stalker: The Call of Pripyat, which does not touch the main plot, only changing the balance and adding a lot of new content.

Plot

The center of the Zone is the most mysterious place that keeps a lot of secrets, and solving them is a key goal not only for stalkers, but also for the government of Ukraine.

For this purpose, a secret operation "Fairway" is planned for a long time. For the sake of successful completion of the task, several well-armed helicopters with special forces on board are equipped. Despite all the preparations, communication with the military was interrupted.

An experienced SBU officer, Major Degtyarev, is sent to find out the reasons for the failure of the operation. The hero must search all the helicopter crash sites and find out the reasons why five accidents happened at once. In addition, Degtyarev should try to find out what professional commandos could not achieve.

Gameplay

Modification of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: The Call of Pripyat - St. John's Wort 3 is aimed at changing the gameplay in favor of greater realism and balance. Among the key innovations , we can safely highlight the following:

• The AI of the monsters has been remade, as has the relationship between them;
• bandages can now only stop bleeding – they no longer restore health;
• sounds and textures of weapons have been redesigned for more realistic and atmospheric;
• increased viewing radius;
• a small number of new types of weapons – and everything has real TTX;
• now GG can carry up to 90 kg of loot;
• merchants buy heavily damaged weapons and equipment.
