Star Wars: Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast (2002) PC

A dynamic action game that at one time revived interest in games based on the "Star Wars" universe. The project was not the first where it was possible to play as a Jedi, but only in it the lightsaber and the Force appeared not for entourage, but for performing real tasks.

Return to the Valley of the Jedi

After defeating Jherek, Kyle Katarn decides to sheathe his lightsaber and give up the Force. Instead of being a Jedi, the hero decides to work as an ordinary mercenary with his partner Jen Ors. But Kyle's unassuming plans are hindered by the dark Jedi Desann, who has figured out how to artificially empower ordinary soldiers. The villain kidnaps Jen, and the patience of the former Jedi breaks: he returns to the Valley of the Jedi and asks Luke Skywalker to return his lightsaber. Replenishment in the ranks of the defenders of the Republic is very useful: Desann, along with the Imperials, is going to destroy the Valley, and, having followed Kyle, now knows about its location.

What's The Power, Kyle?

After passing the tests, the hero, of course, will get his sword back, but at first he will have to fight with imperial soldiers using conventional weapons and equipment. There are automatic turrets, machine guns, first aid kits, drones, electric binoculars, night vision goggles. But the most positive impressions are caused by sword fights: sparks fly from weapons, and flashes of light draw intricate figures in the air – everything is like in the movie "Star Wars". To fight evil, the protagonist very successfully uses various manifestations of Power:

• repels enemies;
• attracts objects;
• performs strangulation of imperials;
• controls the consciousness of others;
• heals wounds.

Among other things, Kyle can improve his lightsaber skills, which manifests itself in changing the mechanics of combat. For example, it becomes possible to repel attacks from the air, move along walls and send back
