S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Way to the Dream (2011) PC

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Way to the Dream is a global story and gameplay modification to the original Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl, which adds a bunch of new content, updates the graphics and makes it possible to play after the completion of the original company.

Plot

In 1986, not far from the city of Pripyat, a reactor exploded at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. After the strongest release of radiation, vast areas around became uninhabitable.

Radiation has led to serious mutations of everything that came under its influence. Nature itself has changed – strange things began to happen in the Affected Area that cannot be explained by science.

Anomalies appeared in the Zone, in which incredibly valuable artifacts were born from time to time. People rushed en masse in search of them – such adventurers were called stalkers.

Once your main character appeared on the territory of the Zone – however, he does not remember how he got here, and who threw him here with his bare hands.

Gameplay

Modification of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Way to the Dream brought a lot of gameplay changes, among which the following can be distinguished:

• mutants have become much stronger – they are now not so easy to kill;
• new monsters have appeared, for example the infernal bloodsucker, which is much more dangerous than usual;
• added radiation emissions – powerful bursts of energy that kill everyone who is directly affected by them;
• the artificial intelligence of NPCs has increased significantly – they began to act tactically competently and shoot much more accurately;
• added the ability to play after the completion of the main storyline.
