Algotica — Iteration 1 is an educational video game masquerading as an adventure with puzzle elements. Developed by Russian programmer Alexander Goodwin to teach beginners the basics of programming. Although the game has an educational task, but this does not negate the fact that you will experience a lot of fun and positive emotions during the passage.

Description

In the game world, you are under the control of an invisible developer who gives instructions on simple programming methods. It is your job to help guide the cubic nature of the program – Loni, from the beginning to the very end. When the computer crashes, the system crashes, and Loni explains that the developer has all the programs left there and asks you to help. Do you have to make a decision to help programs get out of their digital purgatory or help the developer save them?

Gameplay

If you decide to help the programs, then Loni will lead you to an area called "free memory". This is a kind of Eden created from looted projects. There you don't need to program, you move the Loni through the traditional WASD keyboard. However, in any other aspect of the game, coding is mandatory. The developer has also included a map feature that simplifies the levels.

Some of them will have two different endpoints that will take you to another level. Instead of starting from the beginning, there is an opportunity to quickly return to a certain stage and explore another option that was not completed the first time.
