Raven's Cry (2015) PC

Raven's Cry is a computer video game in the genre of action and RPG, which takes place in the XVII century, which became the era of the greatest heyday of piracy.

The Finnish studio Octane Games and the Polish company Reality Pump Studios worked together to create the game.

Plot

The main character becomes a young native of Scotland named Christopher. Together with his parents, he ran away from his poor homeland to find a new life in America. However, already off the coast of Jamaica, pirates attack the ship, who kill everyone except the boy. And yet he does not escape death untouched. By the loss of his parents, his hand was cut off, where he would then place the hook.

As an adult man, Christopher himself becomes an experienced pirate. He is haunted by an irresistible desire to find a corsair named "The Devil", who once took his parents away from him and by a lucky chance the hero finds his trail.

Gameplay

Raven's Cry is hardly an unusual action game – it preaches classic gameplay for this genre and is distinguished by the following features:

• the narration is conducted in the third person;
• the presence of scripted scenes;
• the combat system includes the use of pistols, bladed weapons, grappling hook and special abilities;
• the opportunity to participate in naval battles, board an enemy ship and shoot guns;
• a little freedom of choice – there are certain dialogues where we are offered the right to choose, which slightly affects the outcome of the story.
