Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30 (2005) PC

The first game that started the game series about the Second World War. The developers drew inspiration from the ten-part film project Band of Brothers, filmed in 2001 by Steven Spielberg based on the book by Stefan Ambrose. The story centers on American paratroopers who landed in Normandy and liberate France from the Nazis.

The battle for "height 30"

A simple guy from Georgia, Matt Baker, signed up as a volunteer right after graduation. In June 1944, he found himself on the French coast with a detachment of paratroopers. Baker became a squad leader with the rank of sergeant. On his behalf, a story is being told about a busy week when his team was advancing to "height 30", losing fighters, but step by step freeing strategically important objects.

Gameplay

The gameplay is based on the tactical features of fighting a platoon of American soldiers. The fighters are divided into two groups, which allows you to perform maneuvers to destroy the fascists. The gamer orders the fire support team to cover the movement of the assault group to the flank or to the rear. Thus, the enemies are caught in the crossfire, start to panic and become easy prey. The tactical pause function also helps to implement the neutralization of the Nazis. Pressing the "V" key opens a three-dimensional map that can be scaled to select the most successful positions for your fighters.
