Darkout (2013) PC

Darkout is a promising but abandoned survival simulator on an alien planet. Initially, the project showed great hopes, but at the end of 2013, the developer Allgraf abandoned support for the game. Nevertheless, Darkout was released on Steam, though with a huge number of glitches and flaws.

Survive on an alien planet

The events of the game begin with the crash of a spaceship, as a result of which the player finds himself alone on an unknown planet. Nature, animals, the local population, literally everything will be alien to you. Now you have to deal with the issues of your own survival, find shelter, as well as food and water suitable for consumption.

The local wildlife will not leave you alone so simply, literally everything will try to kill the unlucky traveler who crashed on the ill-fated planet.

Light is your hope for salvation

Most of the inhabitants of the mysterious planet are most afraid of light, so the player will need to think carefully about how to light up their own shelter. If you do not have time to get a light source before dark, your adventure will end incredibly quickly and sadly.

Too much hope for the light is not worth it, occasionally there will be creatures who are not afraid of it. In this case, the protagonist should prepare for a difficult and bloody battle for his own life.

Features of Darkout:

1. The need to monitor hunger, thirst and other important parameters of the character.
2. Hardcore survival in the wild on an alien planet.
3. A well-developed system for creating a variety of items, with the help of which it is possible to significantly facilitate survival in a hostile environment.

Disadvantages of Darkout:

1. The game is abandoned by the developers, so you should not wait for any innovations or updates.
