Transport Tycoon is a computer video game in the genre of urban planning and economic simulator, where you turn into the owner of a transport company that you want to turn into a very profitable business.

Only one person worked on the creation of the game – this is a talented developer named Chris Sawyer.

Many gamers believe that Transport Tycoon is a real classic of this genre, in which the foundations of urban planning simulators were laid. 

Plot

The action takes place initially in a small town, where your transport company is just beginning to flourish. To earn millions, you should not just build buildings – you should be engaged in the transportation of people and various goods.

Gameplay

On a relatively small map there are many useful enterprises for you, including oil platforms, banks, factories and much more. All these buildings produce resources that need to be delivered from one point to another.

There are the following types of vehicles:

• the buses;
• trains;
• ships;
• aircraft;
• helicopters;
• trucks.

And we will have to transport such such important resources:

• oil;
• iron ore;
• passengers are specialists who ensure the efficiency of all enterprises;
• steel;
• paper;
• food and much more.

Transport Tycoon was released back in 1994. The level of graphics here is at an extremely low level. However, when it comes to classics, aspects such as the visual series remain in the background.
