Steamburg (2017) PC

Steamburg is a research puzzle game in a steampunk atmosphere.

The project was developed by the Warsaw independent studio TELEHORSE.

Plot

The player impersonates Professor Vincent Cornelius Moore, an inventor from the city of Stemburg, who spent his life studying electricity and lightning. While robots infected the world, Vincent realized that his invention could destroy them and save humanity!

To eradicate the robots, the player must choose their movements wisely. Unarmed, he can only use electro bombs to lure his enemies and stop their progression for a while. The only way to destroy robots is to get them close to the Tesla coil. At the beginning of the game, he has to fight robots one-on-one, but as the game gets more complicated with each level, he has to fight away with a dozen robots. Vincent discovers that some of them have certain powers.

Gameplay

Thanks to the dialogues of the game and all the hidden letters and photos that the player can find, he learns more about Vincent's life. About the weapons he created in Stemburg. The player also learns about the missing bride of the professor, who was abducted by robots, and whom we have to find.

This first person shooter has a number of features:

• unique, addictive gameplay;
• pretty high-quality steampunk graphics;
• exciting and original gameplay;
• several hidden places and dozens of narrative objects to explore;
• with each level (and there are 32 of them), the game becomes more complicated;
• The music and sound effects were created by SilverRocket.
