Imperium Romanum: Emperor Expansion is a major addition to the original strategy of the same name, as well as an economic and urban planning simulator. The whole point lies in new campaigns on the far borders of the empire, which will throw up a lot of difficulties.

Plot

Once again, we are pleased with new campaigns and now in various parts of the ancient world. As part of the add-on, you will be able to visit and conquer:

• Britain, where brave indigenous peoples – Celts live, ready to defend their lands to the end;
• Egypt is a country where pharaohs and ancient beliefs still rule;
• Germany with its impenetrable forests and merciless barbarians who sacrifice the defeated in battle to the gods.

The number of new scenarios reaches twenty and they all consist of interesting and different missions. You will have to become not only an experienced commander, but also a politician and, of course, an urban planner – this is the only way to win on all fronts.

Gameplay

There are even more gameplay changes than fans expected, and they diversify Imperium Romanum, adding many unique features, including a combat system. New units have appeared, and the army behaves much smarter and more realistic.

There are natural disasters that seriously affect the passage – you should protect yourself from them, as they are capable of destroying your cities. The monetary system has been significantly improved and is now fully functional. Construction has also been expanded, mainly due to the possibility of erecting historical landmarks that look extremely impressive.
