Ruiner (2017) PC

Ruiner is an incredibly smooth cyberpunk shooter set in a fascinating dark future world. Developed by the new Warsaw studio Reikon, but it can be mistaken for an AAA game.

Plot

Ruiner begins with a game prologue in which our main character finds himself on a mission to kill the boss of a corporation called Heaven.
A mysterious hacker named Wizard keeps flashing images and KILL BOSS instructions in your mind, even though the sky itself and the boss's identity are unknown to you.
Eventually, the connection to your cybernetic brain is hacked by an even more mysterious woman named Her, who has other plans for our protagonist.

Gameplay

The actual shooting gameplay is enhanced by the loot system. Ruiner has an impressively wide variety of guns and melee weapons to pick up from downed opponents, crates and lockers.
You will use pistols, flamethrowers, shotguns with widespread shots and much more.
Most of these guns have limited ammo and cannot be reloaded, prompting players to pick up and use almost anything they encounter.
Collecting karma allows you to level up, gain access to new areas of the city and increase upgrades available for purchase.
Skill points from leveling can be spent on thirteen basic skills, including mainly equipped active abilities and several passive bonuses.
