Micro Machines World Series (2017) PC
Micro Machines: World Series is a well—thought-out version of a cute series of toy cars. Serious racing games are great, but there's something special about recreating the magic of a different kind of racing games.
Gameplay
The basic concept of Micro Machines is to drive miniature cars in real conditions. It's very similar to a real racing world tour, but with a slightly more refined tone. There is no single-player campaign here. This is a very simple component of almost every arcade racing game. Without a campaign, the only goals are to level up your player and ultimately raise prestige and collect skins and inconsistent items for each of the twelve pint-sized cars.
Micro Machines World Series is a poorly designed version of the generally cute Micro Machines series. The atmosphere of racing can be pleasant at times, although you often feel events are random or unfair because you have so few warnings about obstacles and not enough control over your car. The environment itself can be quite fun, sometimes using clever transitions such as a drive through the corner pocket of a billiard table. Sometimes it is preferable to use the theme of toy cars than an overly sterile real racing tournament.
