Unforgiving: A Northern Hymn is a terrifying adventure that draws inspiration from Swedish folklore. Here is a story where you are trying to escape from a forest filled with trolls and other mythical animals.

The various creatures that roam all feel – they know that you are there. Antagonists consider you an intruder in their world, so just try to survive.

Plot

GG wakes up alone on the edge of a small river in a deep dark forest.

As you walk along the shore, try to ignore the strange sounds coming from the forest behind and focus on what could be your salvation — a small house on the other side of the river.

It goes without saying that many events are not included in the plans, but you will find a lantern with a box of matches inside, which should help shed light through the forest.

A few seconds that you spend in pitch darkness, every time, plunge into a nightmare, because there is always fear. But when you light your way, something terrible is likely to appear before you.The feeling of fear is perfectly conveyed thanks to the creepy sound design.

Gameplay

• the creatures you encounter everywhere are modeled in great detail – they are really terrifying, especially in the cave area;
• all scenarios are scary – they are well written, and some of the most disturbing sequences are more psychological, for example, a particularly disturbing section when you need to break a dead end in a cave;
• Excellent sound range and visual effects, coupled with rich Norse mythology, adding a real sense of authenticity;
• you can hear the laughter of children, creepy giggles – a soothing whisper of narration, the source of which is unclear;
• evil has a developed AI, so get ready for a meeting with the enemy, who each time acts in a different scenario.
