Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap (2017) PC

Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap is a gaming adventure video game with a gameplay appeal designed from the original code of the main system and a completely new hand—drawn graphics and musical permutations.  Before us is an incomplete remake of the 1989 Wonder Boy III project: The Dragon's Trap.

The development was carried out by a well-known studio called Lizardcube.

Plot

Your character is an adventurer WonderBoy, who after defeating MechaDragon began to suffer from a curse that turned him into a lizard man.

The player must travel around the world and defeat other dragons on earth to return to human form. As in the original game, users explore various lands, defeat enemies to earn items such as arrows and fireballs, and money that can be used to purchase new weapons and armor.

After reaching and defeating each dragon, you will turn into other creatures with different abilities that allow you to conduct additional investigations of new places.

Gameplay

The game retains the gameplay and design level of the original WonderBoy, albeit with some improvements.  You can highlight the following gameplay features:  

• six playable forms for the main character, each with different abilities;
• the ability to travel as a female WonderGirl character;
• beautiful hand-drawn animated graphics;
• you can switch graphics and sounds from modern versions to 8-bit originals;
• three levels of difficulty;
• Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap also supports passwords from the original game.

The project retains its retro design, but thanks to updates to the original programming, we have a brighter and more beautiful animation. Gamespot praised its visual improvements and called
